EARLY DAYS
Louise ‘Lulu’ Eschelman began her fashion career in Ready to Wear and Haute Couture in Copenhagen, Paris and London. In 2004 Lulu and the Trash Couture team were invited by Saks Fifth Avenue to New York and Los Angeles to help introduce Haute Couture to the US market - this became the beginning of Lulu’s new life in the US.

Years were spent creating and developing Lumilla. In 2013 LumillaMingus (now Lumilla) was launched.

In 2015 “Lumilla Gives Back” launched with the creation of a ‘Healing Arts Program’ for children and women at The Anne Douglas Center in Los Angeles.

THE JACKI BAG
2018 - Lumilla partnered wth Catt Sadler on the ‘Jacki’ bag collaboration, benfitting The Olmalaika Home in Kenya. Lumilla was able to build a shower facility for the girls at the home with proceeds from the Jacki bag.
2020 - Partnered with pro football player Kenny Vaccaro and former pro rugby player Michael Hobbs on a collaboration benefitting Blessed Hope Project in Kenya.
